Here are some Websites that are more MA friendly. Some of these shops will give you points towards future sales through onsite programs. Others participate with affiliates like Rakuten. Sign up for Rakuten for some of these and other sites. When purchasing rounds. You may need to create an account and upload your LTC.
Well, they are out of Connecticut and they used to deliver ammunition to Massachusetts (and collect 6.25% MA Tax). UPS to your door. Case/Bulk ammo is free shipping or your can become an AMMO+ Member ($95 per year) and get Free Shipping on everything (even a single box). Plus a free gift and early purchasing on sometimes hard to get Ammo.
Let's see if FFLs will receive orders or a work around to the MA Laws |
I have not visited a Buds Gun Shop in person but I have purchased from them online. Their only website is tough to navigate but they had a great price on an impossible M&P 15-22 Magazine (MA Compliant) that my local stores could not get. The shipping was a little expensive but that is to be expected when you get a great price on an item. I have been told Buds is like a Walmart of 2A.

I have purchased several times from Optics Planet. The key is to have an order that gets you free shipping and/or wait for sale prices.
When you sign up for Optics Planet or on the first order they will generally give you 10% off. Not a bad thank you. Also grab an OP Stocking Hat if on clearance. You also get Optics Bucks you spend on your next order from them. Its a way to keep you coming back . I like them |
I can say the same things about Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops. They are a retail giant across the country. They have buying power to purchase things that others don't.
They website can show you what is in stock at your local stores and if you order online you can pick up right in store. I have purchased arms from them in the past and they are pretty straight forward. If you find yourself there purchasing a lot, you may want to sign up for their credit card and rewards program. But only use it there. Better rewards can be had using other cards elswhere. |
I have this linked to a search of Massachusetts Advertisements. Many MA gun shops advertise but there are also private individuals here too. Its a WantADs for 2A. You have to sign up and create an account if you want to respond. You can also turn off stores and just filter private sales.
Go over to the Local Shops Tab and look at the listings on Armslist for Defense Dynamics or click Here. It's their entire Littleton, MA Inventory with pricing. |
Here's the deal with this site. It has a bunch of deals from other sites. I like to look around for great deals. I sort by Newest Date to see all the deals and I use the Quick Links pull down to check ammo prices nationally on .22, 9mm and 223/5.56.
They make money of the click throughs but its not big deal as they are working to aggregate it for all of us. |
I have purchased from Midway. They are more than just 2A. They are quick to send and everything came it safely, including my new fishing pole. Keep an eye out for Free Shipping deals. I am signed up for their emails all week but I like looking at them so its not a bother.
I have not purchased from AT3 Tactical yet but I like what I see so far. They also have some great videos on their website to educate you before you plan your build.
Check out their series, "Build the Ultimate AR" with new videos every week. Check out their Resources Tab on the right top bar. |
LONG ORDER TIMES AWAIT YOU. Highly recommend Davidson Defense if you can wait a month for your order. They are also related to other websites online, Delta Team Tactical and MMC Armory (formerly Omega Tactical Distribution )
Their websites are not the most easy to maneuver but their product and pricing is pretty good. I found that when placing an order with free ground shipping, you still need to buy insurance at like 1.35% of your order price or so, but I added a few extra items and used a 10% off coupon. You can shop very similar items if not exactly the same items at sometimes different prices. You can also get free shipping sometimes or other great deals but remember the timeframe. They do charge the Mass 6.25% sales tax but all 2A sites will to keep the state off their back. |
![]() Now, I am not lawyer but I have found this item which makes an Mil-Spec AR-15 into a Bolt Action rifle. It was invented for the purposes of allowing people in California to have AR-15s. Not a bad little purchase. Check out what Warrior Poet Society has to say here. I have purchased a few of these. I sign up for the email notices and get one on Monday Holidays giving 15% off and free shipping. Mean Arms has the MA Loader for the fixed lower and Mag Lok for those who build in an unconstitutional State.
Check out thir MA Loader through the ejection port. I think I can reload almost as fast as a mag swap. OK. Maybe not that fast. |
Ammoland is a website that is devoted to providing great information nationally. If you liked reading the American Rifleman, this is like that but with more 2A stories and legal information. They provide information on new items that become available (advertisements) and sometimes provide links to products for sale. I really like the way they follow legal items.

So these are some other shops on the internet. I review them for pricing and materials and ideas for builds etc.
I have purchased some Glock OEM magazines from Nimrods. Pretty great pricing for Factory OEM which I prefer to EDC with. Give 'em a look to see if they have what you want at a great price. Plus a great name for a store.

Durkin Tactical is a company that specializes in AR builds. They have a lot of parts for the different AR Platforms. Give 'em a looksee

A couple of companies that are online for current or future purchases in MA once SCOTUS rules on the CA magazine case. Also, you may want to prepare your order list and budget. Once the gates are open, many states like MA, NJ, CA and city residents will be ordering and deals will be scarce.
Check out some of the great deals Classic has. If you are in the Carolinas, maybe stop by for a visit. I am jealous of some of the drum deals they have. |
Carters Country Outdoor Shop isn't some small online backroom store. It is an actual location just north of Houston, Texas. I cannot wait until I can order from them. Once the magazine restrictions are lifted. Look at their Glock compatible magazines.

Robels Tachtical LLC of California has closed its doors due tot he cost of doing business. Congrats Cali. You did it again.

So if you want to have full sized magazines in your guns but live in a restricted stated, you can use Magazine Blocks to limit to 10 rounds. But you cannot take possession of the the magazines in the restricted states. But if you were planning to visit a non restricted state and can "permanently" block out to 10 round capacity, then maybe it could work.
Some of the ones I have looked at were the Glock/Korean 10/33 that might work well with the Classic Firearms $9 33 round Korean Glock Compatible magazine.
